DBT Skills Group for Adults
With Use of Creative Art
Have you ever wanted to learn how to navigate life with more confidence and control over your emotions and thoughts? In this DBT therapy skills group, you will learn the skills to become your happiest and healthiest self. You may even meet a few like-minded people along the way.
DBT therapy is one of the leading therapy interventions for building emotional control, reducing impulsivity, increasing interpersonal effectiveness, and empowering people to be an active participant in creating a life that they enjoy.
During this DBT therapy skills group, you will connect with other adults with similar goals and together, you will work through educational exercises that incorporate personal reflection, art therapy and creative skill building activities to help develop the skills to be your healthiest self. DBT therapy skill building can be fun!
And don’t worry, no artistic or creative skill is required. We only ask that you show up with a willingness to learn, connect and try new things. (You will not be asked to share any group activities that you do not want to share.)
