My background

I received my graduate degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Texas at Arlington.
I began my professional career working with families experiencing homelessness and have sinced expanded my practice into therapy work in multiple clinical settings.

I have experience practicing therapy for adolescents in PHP/IOP, as well as private practice therapy with individuals across the life span.

My view on counseling

I like to take a holistic approach to work to integrate mind and body, as well as taking a person-centered approach.
I encourage genuineness by offering a safe space without judgement. I believe if people have a space without judgement, they can address and accept one’s self, leading to growth.

I am LGBTQ+ affirming and strive to take a culturally humble approach.
